Room 6060:

Of Death + Hope, Of Grief + Joy

IMG_8820.jpg

- A Note from the Author -

For my family, Easter 2019 was a day spent inside a cold hospital, saying an unwanted goodbye to our dying grandmother, “Nanny.” A day that refined our understanding of hope through the harsh reality of death.

Room 6060 tells that story.

The book consists of two parts. In part one, Room 6060 narrates the short story of my family’s final three days with Nanny and explores the paradoxes of hope through grief and celebration through mourning. In part two, Room 6060 offers comforting guidance to those walking through grief in 6 articles written by myself and several collaborating authors.

Our prayer is that Nanny’s story and the compassionate wisdom of my fellow writers will lift grieving souls toward the hope of Easter:

The hope of resurrection through death.
