Why Jon + Erica
Together?
Jon + Erica are U.S. missionaries church planting in Los Angeles, California with the IPHC denomination. They’ve been happily married for 8 years and recently had their first baby, Avonlea Mae. Previously, they served at Emmanuel University and LifePoint Ministries in northeast Georgia, as well as with The Awakening in IPHC World Missions Ministries.
Jon + Erica Together is simply a place they hope to share stories and life with you from their ministry journey in Los Angeles.
As co-laborers for the gospel, they’re burdened to make disciples who follow Jesus resiliently and fruitfully in post-Christian contexts.
Meet Jon
Jon holds an M.Div. in Marketplace Ministry from Regent University and a B.A. in Psychology from Emmanuel College (GA). Jon is also an ordained minister in the IPHC Golden West conference. He’s into writing, coffee-ing, hiking, people, and skateboarding, and hopes to see these and other interests turn into boundary breaking platforms for the gospel. Most recently, Jon’s dreaming of what a new thriving local church in L.A. might look like.
Meet Erica
Erica holds an M.A. in Global Transformation and Urban Ministry from Southwestern Christian University and a B.A. in Christian Ministries from Emmanuel College (GA). She also holds her credentials as an ordained minister with the IPHC Golden West Conference. Erica is passionate about missions and justice, and desires to connect young people to the love of God for the nations and the least of these. She enjoys hosting people in her home, creating fun events, and traveling to new places, and loves how God uses these things as a way to disciple and mentor young people.
